What we store in your browser
Cookies are small files a website places on your device. Here is what the finished site uses and what each does. You can switch them off, and the site still works. If you say yes in the box we measure with Google (visitor statistics and advertising measurement), Meta (advertising measurement) and Microsoft Clarity (how the page is used). Analytics and advertising load only after you accept. The forms’ Cloudflare Turnstile security check loads when you start filling in a form or try to submit it, independently of your analytics choice, and it sets no cookie. Your choice is kept in your browser, not as a cookie, so you are not asked every time.
| Type | What it does | Who sets it | Can be switched off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Preferences | Remembers choices you made about how the page is displayed. | Us | Yes. The choices are then forgotten between visits. |
| Visitor statistics | Measures which pages are visited and for how long, so we can see what works. We see patterns, not individuals. | Google Analytics | Yes, without anything ceasing to work. |
| Advertising measurement | Connects a registration to the advertisement that led here, so we know which ads are worth the money. | Google Ads | Yes, without anything ceasing to work. |
| Advertising measurement | The same for advertisements on Facebook and Instagram: connects a registration to the advertisement that led here. | Meta | Yes, without anything ceasing to work. |
| Behaviour measurement | Records where visitors scroll, click and get stuck, so we can make the page better. | Microsoft Clarity | Yes, without anything ceasing to work. |
How to switch them off
Here. You choose in the box the first time you arrive, and you can change your mind whenever you like:
A no stops all measurement from then on. Cookies already set after an earlier yes disappear only when you clear them in your browser. If you also want to switch off cookies for every website, that is done in your browser. Where the setting sits varies, but it is usually called something with privacy or site data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
The same setting applies to every website you visit, not only this one.
What the cookies do not do
They do not contain your name, your email address or anything you have submitted through a form. That goes into our systems, not into your browser, and is described under personal data.
